First & Last Stop For Your Business Problems.
Our Solvers

Founder & Problem Solver
Ravi Kashyap founded Gain Knowledge in 2009 at the peak of the financial crisis while in his final year of MBA studies at the Stern School of Business, New York University. He believes that rigid categorization of roles and responsibilities caused smart people to lose sight of critical factors and fueled the crisis to epic proportions.

His belief in non-specialized, cross functional problem solving is constantly affirmed when watching students and professionals alike change their specializations and resumes dozens of times to suit the company and the description of the job they are applying to. He restarted Gain Knowledge Group in 2011 focused on bringing solutions not focused on any particular discipline to non-financial service firms.

Having worked at various financial service firms in New York, including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, he moved to Hong Kong to be part of the Asian growth story. He is currently an Equity Strategist at Morgan Stanley. He holds an Undergraduate Degree from National Institute of Technology, Calicut. He enjoys playing volleyball and skiing when he is not strategizing, gaining knowledge or problem solving.

Partner & Problem Solver
Much taken by the Zen story of “a full cup is not susceptible to more fills”, Anais Deng enjoys approaching problems with a child’s curiosity and a grownup's wisdom of “common sense”. In her earlier years, she worked and studied to become a specialist. She holds undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Finance from Binghamton University. After having worked in a breadth of roles in business develo
pment, operations, project management and strategic sourcing; she realized flexibility leads to adaptability. With this awareness, she went to New York University, Stern School of Business and earned her MBA in Finance and Strategy. Her further education gave her the tools to become a generalist who can roll up her sleeves and tackle problems without being confined to a tunnel vision.

Currently, Anais works for a leading global business communications conglomerate; managing their global vendor relations and cost reduction programs. Though Anais is based in New York, USA, she dreams of her own global footprint by backpacking whenever she is not working on the “next business idea that would change the world".
